I took an old almost useless dish, (small dishes have taken over )
and removed the dish, and replaced it with some square tubing to
mount the panels. The old electric arm used to move the big dish
between the satellites, moves my home brew tracker array.
I then took a solar tracking device that cost me $37.00 from
redrok.com and put it under a mason jar to protect it from the
weather. Photo below is a close up of the tracker after installation.
Now my panels follow the sun all day and they almost double what
the panels put out stationary. Cost of old dish.. Free. Not many use
them, they are just taking up yard space.
